Overview

To recognise outstanding achievement by an Indigenous Bachelor (Honours) or Masters student in their coursework/project work.

Who is eligible?

  • To be eligible for the Prize, a candidate must meet all of the following criteria:
    • Be an enrolled student in any Bachelor (Honours) or Masters degree program within any Faculty in the year of selection of the Prize
    • Be identified and recognised as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
    • Have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or above

Selection process

  • Applicants must submit a 500-word outline of their Honours thesis work and submit it via email to Jumbunna@uts.edu.au
  • Students who are not previous UTS students will need to provide a copy of their transcript with their written piece. 
  • Please use 'Guy Morrison Prize for Excellence Application' as the subject of your email.
